اختصار amylee (امی لی) نام دارد و متولد 13 دسامبر 1981  است در ریورساید کالیفرنیا.اعضای این

 گروه  عبارتند از: John Lecompt - Guitar / Will Boyd - Bass که در حال حاضر گروه را

ترک کرده است /  Terry Balsamo - Guitar/ Rocky Gray - Drums/ Tim McCordبنیان

 گذار گروه اوانسنس شخصی به نام بن مودی بوده که او نیز اکنون در گروه حضور ندارد.این گروه سبک

هایی مثل rock / piano Rock / Arena Rock ,Hard rock به زیبایی اجرا میکند.اولین آلبوم

این گروه Origin و دومین آلبوم که در سال ۲۰۰۳ منتشر شد fallen بود که حدود ۱۴ میلیون نسخه از

این آلبوم به فروش رفت. آخرین آلبوم گروه The Open Door  نام دارد که در سال ۲۰۰۶ منتشر شد و

 در هفته اول انتشار و در آمریکا حدود ۴۴۸۰۰۰ نسخه از این آلبوم به فروش رفت.

Amy Lee has almost been through more band members than bottles
of black hair dye. Despite the defections and dumps, Evanescence scored a huge hit earlier this year with "Call Me When You're Sober," a track about Lee's ordeals with ex- boyfriend Shaun Morgan of Seether. The band is on the road promoting its latest album, "The Open Door," as part of the Family Values Tour, with Korn. We spoke with Lee, 25, about the band drama and her recent marriage to therapist Josh Hartzler. The Family Values Tour plays Sept. 1 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

1Q: How's your summer going?

A: Great. We're just on tour with Korn and a bunch of other bands.

2Q: Because you really needed more hairy men with guitars in your life?

A: Yeah. I just can't get enough.

3Q: On the Family Values Tour, you get to play for only about an hour each night. Is that enough time to cram in all your hits?

A: Yeah. I think we can do it.

4Q: You've had kind of a crazy year - getting married, band members leaving, annoying the Christians. How did you keep it all together?

A: It's actually been a really good chapter for us. Obviously, being married has been pretty fun. (Drummer) Rocky (Gray) and (guitarist) John (LeCompt) just weren't having fun anymore. They weren't into the new album or new music or whatever, so we got (guitarist) Troy (McLawhorn) and (drummer) Will (Hunt), who are really excited about what we're doing. They're exactly the kind of people that we needed to have in the band.

5Q: You didn't think it would maybe be a good idea to wait until after the tour to get married?

A: We didn't want to wait. It's not like I'm horrible and I got married and I went right back on tour. We did get to have a honeymoon. But I'm in a rock band. This is what I do. I don't have the option of taking time off, especially in the middle of an album cycle. The only option we had was to wait a year, and we didn't want to do that.

6Q: How did you manage to find love in the middle of all the craziness?

A: My husband and I have actually known each other for years. We met when I was 18, but we just had to wait until the timing was right. It wasn't like I met him on the road. That never works out.

7Q: You sound as if you've had some experience in that department.

A: Oh, yeah. No further comment on that.

8Q: With the band members coming and going, why keep Evanescence around?

A: It's like a sick child. It's a big job. Everything that ever goes wrong is all on me to fix it, but I do love it very much. It's something I've poured my heart and feelings into since I was 14. It wouldn't feel right abandoning it.

9Q: Have you considered going solo?

A: To do a solo project would be silly because I feel everything I want to do I can do with this band. Evanescence has become everything I've ever wanted. I don't see any need to do a solo project. I'd rather work on scores or something.

10Q: Why do you think you've had such a hard time keeping people in the band?

A: It's been different each time. I love (bassist) Will (Boyd). We're still friends. That was a lifestyle change. He wanted to spend time with his family and not tour. Rocky and John were bitter (because) they didn't write songs. I'm not an evil queen kicking people out.

11Q: Do your band members tiptoe around you now?

A: No. I'm a nice a person, I swear. You can ask them. Last night we all camped out in the parking lot of the hotel we were supposed to stay at. We ate s'mores and hot dogs and played Scrabble. It was fun. We really enjoy each other's company.

اگر به دنبال معنای لغوی evanescence باشین شاید تو بعضی از دیکچنریها همچین کلمه ای رو پیدا نکنین ولی در لغت evanescence به معنای به تدریج محو شدن هستش.
گروه evanescence نه سال پیش توسط ben moody و amy lee که هم مدرسه ای بودن به طور کاملا اتفاقی تشکیل شد.
amy lee خواننده و آهنگساز21 ساله و ben moody هم گیتاریست و آهنگساز 28 ساله گروه هستن که البته ben moody حدود 1 سال پیش بنا به دلایلی از گروه جدا شد. دیگر اعضای این گروه john lecompt که گیتار میزنه william boyd که بیسیست هستش و rocky gray درامر گروه هستن terry blasmo هم از گروه the cold جایگزین ben moody شد.
زادگاه این گروه هم ارکانزاس و شهر کوچک لیتل راک هستش.
قبل از آلبوم جاودانه fallen چند آلبوم ديگه هم درست شده بود كه public نشدن و فقط حدود 200 كپي از آنها تهيه شد.
در مورد سبك آهنگها هم بايد بگم gothic rock هستش . آلبوم fallen حدود 17 ماه پيش release شد و 43 هفته در top 10 بيلبورد بود .5.3 مليون كپي تو آمريكا و 12 مليون كپي هم در كل دنيا فروش داشت . من خودم 15 ماهه كه دارم 11 تا آهنگ fallen رو گوش ميكنم ولي هنوز هم آهنگهاش برام جذابن و تكراري نشدن
يكي از مهمترين دلايل موفقيت fallen اينه كه 7 سال رو اين آلبوم كار شده به طور مثال آهنگ my immortal مربوط به سال 98 هستش
خصوصيت منحصر به فرد آهنگهاي evanescence كه اونها رو از هر نظر با بقيه آهنگها متمايز ميكنه شعر هاي فوق العاده پر معني و عميق اونهاست . آهنگهايي مثل my immortal و tourniuet و imaginary و ... داراي بالاترين سطح محتوا هستن . به نظر من amy lee و ben moody قبل از اينكه آهنگساز خوبي باشن شاعرهاي قابلي هستن.
در مورد آلبوم fallen همونطور كه گفتم 11 تا آهنگ داره كه آهنگهاي bring me to life,hello,my last breath , taking over me , going under ,haunted رو amy lee نوشته و آهنگهايimaginary , every body’s fool , my immortal ,whisper رو ben moody نوشته كه متن آهنگهاش از آهنگهايي كه amy lee ساخته بهتره آهنگ tourniquet رو هم rocky gray درامر گروه نوشته كه مال گروه سابقش يعني soul embraced هستش كه يك گروه christian metal بوده و اصطلاحا اين آهنگ cover شده (به اجراهاي يك artist از يك artist ديگه ميگن cover )
در سايت www.evanescence.com ميتونيد دست نوشته هاي amy lee رو پيدا كنيد.

شايد يكي از دلايلي كه evanescence در ايران خيلي طرفدار نداره اينه كه تا معناي آهنگها رو نفهمي از آهنگاشون خوشت نمياد . يعني نقطه قوت آهنگاشون متن شعرهاشون هستش و نه موسيقي آهنگاشون ولي به محض اينكه متن آهنگاشونو براي خودت ترجمه ميكني ديوونه اين گروه ميشي
در ضمن آلبوم بعديشون هم قراره اوايل سال جديد (ميلادي) به بازار بياد
در مورد amy lee هم بايد بگم دوست پسرش shaun morgan از گروه seether هستش كه آهنگ broken رو هم با هم خوندن.
amy lee به گروه korn خيلي علاقه داره و جديدا آهنگ thoutless اونها رو تو كنسرتهاشون اجرا ميكنن.
ben moody هم كه از band جدا شد براي avril lavigne و jessica simpson چند تا آهنگ ساختش.
حالا ميرسيم به آهنگ bring me to life كه احتمالا همتون شنيدينش:
اين آهنگ sound track فيلم evil dead هم هستش و paul mccoy از گروه stones 12 هم در اون خونده و خيلي راحت evanescence رو به اوج شهرت رسوند هفته ها در صدر چارتها بود و خيليها از جمله من رو جذب اين گروه كرد.
نكته جالب هم اينكه amy lee در يكي از مصاحبه هاش گفته بود كه اين آهنگ باعث شده كه يك نفر از خودكشي كردن منصرف بشه
ويديو اين single بينهايت عالي ساخته شده و در كشور روماني و در ژانويه 2003 درست شده

نكته جالب در مورد ساخت اين ويديو اينه كه amy بايد واقعا از يك ديوار صاف بالا ميرفته كه البته اون هم اين كار رو ميكنه!
ويديو بعدي اونها going under بود كه در آلمان و همچنين LA ساخته شد ويديو موفق بعدي my immortal بود كه در بخش قديمي شهر بارسلون اسپانيا ساخته شد و ويديو آخرشون هم every body’s fool بود كه در LA ساخته شد. هر چند من معتقدم هر 11 تا آهنگ fallen توانايي single شدن رو داشتن
در مورد جوايزي كه evanescence دريافت كرد بايد يك توضيح مقدماتي بدم:
همونطور كه ميدونيد در امريكا جشنواره هاي زيادي در مورد موسيقي بر گزار ميشه و يكي دو تا نيست مثل : AMA american music awards – VMA video music awards – teen choices awards – much music awards – billboard – grammy – WMA world music awards و خيليهاي ديگه ولي بايد بهتون بگم اسكار موسيقي و پر ارزش ترين جوايز در دنياي موسيقي grammy هستش كه جايزش به شكل يك شيپور طلاييه بعد از اون هم VMA كه مال mtv هستش
evanescence تقريبا در تمامي فستيوالهاي بالا nominee (كانديدا) شده بود. در grammy هم تو 5 بخش كانديدا بودن كه 2 تاشو بردن best new artist – best hard rock performan
